As of 2019, China's new energy vehicle sales totaled more than 4.19 million units.
In terms of enjoyment, according to statistics from the Ministry of Public Security, the number of new energy vehicles in China reached 3.81 million units in 2019, accounting for 1.46 percent of the total number of vehicles, up 1.2 million units and 46.05 percent compared with the end of 2018. From 2017 to 2018, no more than 500 new energy vehicles were recycled from scrapped electric vehicles in China. Since 2019, the total number of new energy vehicles applied for scrapping and recycling certificates has increased significantly, exceeding the number of scrapping in the previous three years. According to the research data, the scrap new energy vehicles recovered by the recycling and dismantling company at this stage mainly come from the retired vehicles of the legal entity.
To promote the use of new energy vehicles in China's business scale market as the carrier, the integration of new energy vehicles retired scrap characteristics, forecast and analysis of the basic theory of new energy vehicles in China's scrap situation. By 2020, 2025 and 2030, the total number of basic theories of scrapped new energy vehicles in China will be 47000, 372000 and 2.328 million respectively.
It should be noted that after 2025, China's new energy vehicle sales market has gradually entered the process of popularization and development, the recycling and utilization level of scrapped electric vehicles has been improved, and the residual value of used cars of pure electric vehicles is relatively low, and its scrap rate is slowly higher than that of traditional gasoline and diesel vehicles.
