Chairman Zhang Yongxiang of Shenzhen Taili Waste Battery Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. was the last finale of this forum, he made a keynote speech on the construction of waste battery recycling system under the extended producer responsibility system.

Chairman Zhang mainly demonstrated and shared from the following five aspects, and called on the manufacturers and users of power batteries to reuse resources without causing environmental pollution, leaving green mountains and green waters for future generations.

1. the rapid development of the new energy automobile industry in recent years, the number of power battery scrapped is also increasing, and the pressure of scrapped batteries on environmental protection and resource reuse is also increasing day by day. In 2015, the total output of lithium batteries in China was 47.13GW. According to the forecast, by 2020, the demand for power lithium batteries will reach 125GW, and its scrap volume will reach 32.3GW, about 500000 tons. By 2023, the scrap volume will reach 1.16 million tons.

2. on January 3, 2017, the General Office of the State Council issued the "Implementation Plan for the Extended Producer Responsibility System", which clearly implements the extended producer responsibility system for the four major industries such as electric vehicles. At the same time, the plan clarifies the relevant responsibilities of producers, and extends the resource and environmental responsibilities of producers for products from the production link to the whole life cycle system of product design, circulation consumption, recycling, and waste disposal. That is to say, power battery manufacturers are required to control the green cycle and low-carbon development of batteries from the aspects of carrying out ecological design, using recycled raw materials, standardizing recycling and strengthening information disclosure.

The 3. "Implementation Plan of the Extended Producer Responsibility System" puts forward special requirements for the recycling of automotive products and power batteries, and requires the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine to complete the establishment of an electric vehicle power battery product coding system and a full life by the end of 2017 Cycle traceability system, and establish an electric vehicle power battery recycling system, improve regulations and standards, and strictly enforce law enforcement and supervision. By learning from the experience of the United States, Japan, Germany and other developed countries, we will improve the supervision and monitoring of the production, utilization and recycling of domestic battery manufacturers.

4. to strengthen the construction of waste battery recycling system, there are three main aspects: 1, the production of marked batteries, through consumers to enter the retail store, and then through a special recycling company for recycling. 2. Scrap batteries enter special recycling places through enterprises and institutions, and then are transported to recycling companies such as Taili. 3. In terms of environmental protection awareness, through social environmental protection activities, organize visits to recycling companies to enhance people's environmental awareness.
