The ocean is rich in natural resources. It is the cradle of all human and earth life. It is also our blue home for happy life and happy growth. Protecting the ocean is to protect our future. Our home is a coastal city, Shenzhen, which is famous for its beautiful scenery, charming scenery and developed economy. With the rapid economic development, its offshore resources have a trend of degradation, and the contradiction between population, resources and environment has become increasingly prominent. Protecting the marine environment on which we live has become our urgent responsibility. To this end, with the strong support of Shenzhen Ocean Bureau, Shenzhen Blue Marine Environmental Protection Association sponsored the International Marine Cleaning Day and Blue Declaration in Shenzhen in 2011. The theme of the event is to enhance the awareness of marine protection, cherish marine natural resources, protect marine ecological environment, recycle waste batteries and disseminate the harmfulness of waste batteries, and disseminate marine ecological civilization.
